Ferrous (SP?) Cement sail boats were an item for home builders wanting to have a true yacht in the late sixties and early seventies. Controlling the curing rate so that they didn't crack was a major chore. There are a few hulls, hidden inland here and there that have become the roof of a little chalet because the builders couldn't afford to have them trucked to the coast. Would gladly trade the issues of this castle I care for but don't own for the issues of one of those floating brick ranch houses. Bilge pump/sump pump, same ol' same ol' Have you ever gone to sleep with the patter of rain on a tin roof? Oh, and visions of old movie, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" Yeeoooowwwwllllll! So, when do we franchise the saloon into floating brick and cement salon boats?

What amazes me more than anything is how high in the water it appears to be floating . . . .

Nice pics Raoul,
I am not too crazy about the east of China and sometimes think Suzhou may be the only place I like in the east. The west seems so much more beautiful too me.

Thanks, JJ. It is nice here...
East China isn't all that scenic for the most part, true. I hope to see more of the West sometime.
