Citizens, I have been writing this article for the newspaper and I am up to 1000 words and 200 hundred to go. Is daughter in law counted as 3 words or one. Also I started off nice but do you think I should include this "My daughter in law is new to this baby thing I don't think she ever played with dolls as a child. That's where little girls first begin to learn their mothering skills. Nowdays little girls play with barbie dolls that teach them different values, like how to look and dress like a slut and aspire to the aquisition of all things material, especially if it is pink."
What do you think?

Sounds good, woza. I would read it. However, I think maybe it is a tad over the top for China. But who knows? TIFC.
I read it again a few hours later.
Write it like that and I will edit it for you. No worries. Dunno if it will see print, but it should.

Lotus constantly makes Xi'an out to be the greatest place in China. Maybe it is not so! A Job Ad........... ”Teach in the home town of the terracotta worriers and horses“ “Do you want to visit the terracotta worriers and horses? Our college is located in the hometown of terracotta worriers and horses. Please come to our to teach English. ”

Mr. N You should see the adult jokes that they publish each week. I put one of the jokes on the jokes thread with a disclaimer that this does not reflect my sense of humour.
One of the foreigner contributors referred to a someone as a tart. Anyway I will give it a go and send you the article to have a look at.
Thanks AJ

I'd like a terra cotta worrier. Then, when I start worrying I could just tell him and he could worry for me. Might add years to my life and prevent a few wrinkles.

In the vein of a previous discussion I can't find the thread of, I would like to present yet one more argument in favour of leaving the toilet seat up.
Here, in Middle Earth, it is the habit of the in-hobbitants to put the loo in the same room as the shower. The room is small. If you leave the seat down, it gets wet when you shower. If you leave it up, in the sensible position, it doesn't, and you can have a dry bum.
Cheers.

Mr N that is good advice I have a bathroom as you described and that is by choice. I will follow your simple but brilliant idea.
I have had a long day, up at 5am classes till lunchtime then out will the girls to Humen to buy material for summer clothes and checked out the fashions all designed for teenagers who are in their first months of pregnancy. all empire lines with so much lace and see through I couldn't tell if these were clothes to sleep in or go out in, I am sure by wearing them, you would end up in bed eventually.
Eri nearly got run over and in the carpark and hit the drivers bonnet with my water bottle that I asked her to carry for me. The driver got out of the car and was going to have a go at her I stepped in and told him to m'kay off. It turned nasty but not really serious. New maid is not working out and was looking after the baby while we were out and the list goes on had to rush back becasue one of the teachers had hurt his back and I had to do his 2 hour class and I was so looking forward to having dinner and beers with my friends and now I am at home and am so tired and have 6 hours tomorrow and have to train the home help who is getting progressively bitter each day and I wish we didn't have one and that I could hire Mary Poppins but I can't cause she never really existed and now I feel sorry for the upper classes and the trouble they had to go through to get good help nowdays. The class I taught tonight are really nice but their English is so basic that they shouldn't be at this level and I am not sure what the other teacher did but maybe they thought I was teaching them at a basic level even though they sure as hell need it. I really wish the home help would pay more attention to the kitty litter tray I can smell it from here and it is 50 yards away so I will get up tomorrow and do it myself. Why is her husband coming here tomorrow. Why do we have a sulky maid that can't cook or follow orders who is probably a nice person and never hire family no matter how remote the connection. Why haven't the Americans embraced the metric system yet, we bloody had too. In class today one of my boy students cried because I shouted at him (14yo) I was just demonstrating the word shout pratising the ed endings should it be id, T or D, he took it personally. Little darling, I didn't pay much attention cause when you are crying you don't want that, the rest of the class explained, teacher is not angry with you and so on. Little sweetie really and when he had calmed down I went back, no fuss and proceeded with the lesson. I finished my article today and will type it up and send it off to you Mr N could you PM your e-mail address.
I really like to have a rant.

Woza I'm sorry the maid has left but you should definately keep a diary of your travails with domestic staff. It could be the follow up to Tommy in China.
Don't feed your cat cows milk do you? Bad for pussy's digestion.

I just have to sya I am well aware of my spelling mistakes I just reread my post, site not sight and a couple of others. Do some people go back and reread their own threads to get the numbers up so that they appear more intelligent and interesting. Look I will come forward first and say I do and then the rest of you can admit that you do the same thing.
