Crap, you may be out of there before I arrive. Well, good luck to you. And I've also heard mixed things about Korea, so use your China paranoia, and don't let 'em rook ya.

Hey, Lager, take care of yourself.
You really aren't leaving since I have you as close as before, via computer. Keep us posted on your situation.

Lager, I'm too lazy/stupid to find it in another thread. What schnooks were you working for? I'd hate to repeat your story.

Called HND and affiliate themselves with big Uni's doing joint venture things. They are new so housing is horrifying and pay is minimal. Only one teacher seems happy and that's only because it's morning work so he can keep his private classes. (He;s raking it in and saving.)
So are you planning to just show up and look? asiaexpat (link is on here) seems busy.
Ruth? Almost ended up in your area. I was decided on a job in Qinghuangdao before this 11th hour Korea stuff. That place -I checked a map- is just south of you on the way to Tianjin.
But I could get deported and end up there---one can always hope! ;D

Qinghuangdao is the easternmost point of the Great Wall where it goes into the sea. We've been there twice. 300 yuan taxi fare for a day trip. It's about a 2 hour drive from here. We'd be neighbours if you end up back here.
