Ha! This thread was hijacked long ago.
Not that I am complaining. The fact that this is riding high at the top of 'Going gets Weird' makes it look like my original post was extremely interesting, at least to the casual observer.

I've noticed that packages COME to China quickly. Outgoing is where things seem to queer up.
Mind you, Mandi's been waiting for a package, now 3 weeks overdue and counting.

Bit of data on China post. I posted 2 boxes to Australia on 20th June. They said it would take about 3 months, but I reckoned they were just covering themselves. One arrived last Friday, so that's about 6 weeks right? The other one, no sign of it yet. When I posted them the boxes were cuboid in shape. The one that arrived wasn't cuboid in shape. Didn't matter really as it was just clothes and stuff.

Bumping this up 'cos Nobody was asking about China Post, I think. The title of this thread suggests that this is all about China Post. Well, some of it is, kinda sorta.
