now, that won't work in a primary school I teach for. Pity though. I can't even send them out of them class - the grade 5-6 students are almost as tall as I am!

I believe the standard is set at the beginning of the year. I wish I could go back to September and lay dow the law- so many bad habits have endured.

The Spitting Issue is really big in Korea with expats too. I have found myself disgusted and angry as heck ,,, sometimes people just spit in the worst place like someone will step there, I think why not spit to the side or out of the way not at a doorstep/stairway in a pool. or on your leg or foot. About health... as 4 me In Korea this year I havent been sick once, healthy as ever, so as for the cough, spit spray, sneeze which I deal with daily here too even its foul it doesnt seem to effect peoples health so much. for a balanced point of veiw..In the west how about if someone coughed or sneezed in your face?? would you think yourself into becoming sick? If you sit there and think im sick i got the germs Im sick maybe you will get sick. and add lack of hands washed in toilets. which may even be a more serious health risk? good luck in 08

If you think Korea's dirty and Korean habits are lacking, your world will really get rocked here

I have looked into them in Korea before and found little to nothing out I know they do have em but havent seen them on the walks i have been on. I did a web search one night and pulled out nothing in English. Asia has every type of Fungi the japanese have them no doubt the Chinese and Korean do too. but its not something they talk much about. I did look through the biggest herb market here for about 3 hours checking each stall and mushroom but nothing. my guess is the Korean Govt are tight on such things. any westerners caught doing something dumb on them would warrent headline news here.

Hey Quint I wasreading the Guangzhou post a great little rag. Which helps wm to keep up with world news. They had photos of this women on the train. Her dog had just taken a dump on the train and she refused to clean it up. Silly woman. This woman is now being hounded by the press.
