Hey Hey and Ola! I saw a post about a city with Brazilians in it, and I know Portugese must have some relevance in Macao. Is there any need for English teachers with Portugese skills? cheers e tchau Mick www.exotica.freeservers.com

I knew a Portugese woman in Melbourne. She was the neighbour of a friend of mine. She gave me some 'cheese' which was really just hard jam made from their fruit trees.

There are tons of them Portuguese speakers in Beijing: Angolans, Brazilians, Portuguese as they are, Cape Verans etc. I see 'em CARAS every weekend and even during the week in all possible and impossible places.

PS. I learn Portuguese on my own. Was late to enroll into a course they conduct at the Brazilian Embassy (FOR FREE!). So I got with sonia-portuguese.com and some other useful sites I found.

Sorry to sully the waters with an on-topic reply. I've seen ads for Portuguese-speaking teachers and interpreters in Macao. But I think only a small number of people there speak Portuguese as their sole fluent language. Once in a great while I see ads for Lusophones in Shanghai. Few and far between...
