I wouldn't spend this much energy on the prick. You can confidently ignore everything he says, since lets face it, who gives a toss about brazil?
And for uber's comments, 2/3 ain't bad.

Bill Gates sold his soul to the devil.  You gave me what I deserved for compromising on that one.  Normally I stick to people who actually create or discover new things. I recent years I have leaned more (very little) toward pacifying people. Bill gates is an "operator" ,as opposed to a creative, like the other two. |

It really bothers me that so many of the comments here are directed not at the asshat who has been bothering Cheekygal, but at the country he's from.
I'm from America. There are a large number of stupid asshats in my country, a lot of them religious to the point of brain damage, and a lot of them utter jerks on top of it all... and guess what? YOUR COUNTRY IS EXACTLY THE SAME, ONLY WITH A DIFFERENT FLAVOR.
Please STFU about Brazil. Geographically, it's a very nice place, and like every other country (including America and Russia and Australia and Canada and the UK and and and etc. etc. etc. etc.) it has millions of jerkstoves and millions of cool people who any reasonable person could feel proud to be friends with. You people are showing your own detestable jerkitude by damning every single person in Brazil simply because, yes, there are jerks there too.

Yes, Brazil has its strong points and good people.
You are also correct that every country has its share of jerks, assholes, and worse. My country has Republicans. can you imagine?
We are equal opportunity humorously intended insulters here and it is just one of those things one must get used to. I find no reference above to Brazil, or to Brazilians, that does not come from personal experience or as a statement of observed fact. It seems to me that nothing above was intended to suggest that ALL Brazilians are assholes...just those known to have come to China as teachers that have been personally observed by some of our members.
We just avoid telling people to STFU about much of anything here unless it is directed at a member or used in an insulting reference to blanketly indict a country, life style, sexual persuasion, race, political association (except Republicans), hair color, weight, religion, diet, taste in music, country of origin (except Australia, at least the part that George comes from, the RAT BASTARD!), planetary preferences, acceptance of seafood, appetite for dogs, belief in ghosts, cleanliness, flatulence, condition of skin, haircut, bad breath, shoe size, shoe style, foot odor, treatment of plants, pets, pheasants, nose picking, butt scratching, dirty fingernails, eye color, marital condition of parents, having a President named Bush, being from California or New Jersey, liking prunes, NEEDING prunes as George does, smelling of Elderberry, and being French.
SOME other stuff is OK.
We don’t say things like, “You people are showing your own detestable jerkitude by damning every single person in Brazil simply because, yes, there are jerks there too.” We don’t because we expect to see others here show their “detestable jeritude” because that is the reason we love them…and Brazilians as well.

Yeah, I was joking. Brazil is nice, two very good friends are from there, another good freind married someone from there. I learned some Brazillian portuguese from them.
I wasn't serious, motis! (about brazil - I was about him being a prick wherever he was from)
Not to mention that HE started it, calling Cheeky a Ruskie.
And there is no need to get abusive.

I lived in Brazil for 2 years and and the people there are generally wonderful. Elitism is strong though and the rich often behave as though others are lesser people and are just in their way or to be taken advantage of. Similar to China, similar to most countries but not all people of course. It's likely that most Brazilians that are here come from a certain segement of their populous and therefore skewer the view many have of all Brazilians.
This of course happens with all countries. If we were to judge Australia by the people on this board well............

Alright, I don't and never did blame the country. It is a very contraversive - the attitute and the behaviour of the people who belong to the same nation. I must say I am not proud of certain females from my country - they creat the rest of us a VERY bad reputation and wrong perceptions in people's minds. So, one pardon prick, is not a face of the whole country (though he should rather think about it being a son of a diplomate!). It's a young boy whose hormones have blocked his thinking.
Anyway, thank you for your replies - I know I shouldn't pay attention and I don't really show I do in life. There are only very few things that can upset me and someone insulting my people and my profession are of those.

Tissues Lotus did you notice the lovely tissues box covers that I bought in Suzhou. The button fell off the green one when I got it home and Eri squirted dumpling juice over it as well but the other 2 are pristine

Lotus I seriously can't remember.
AJ what a cracker Ned chicken. George a couple of years ago at the Summer camp this NZ guy goot up on stage in a chicken suit and did whatever I wasn't there just heard about it secondhand. The boss was totally impressed offered him the job as the boss of the camp 25.000RMB and return airfare from NZ.
