I remember when Canada switched to mandatory unleaded gas. It was controversial at the time... until they demonstrated that lead levels in the air dropped by 70 percent in the first year. And it cost less than a penny a gallon to take the crap outta the gasoline.
Cheap, with huge, instant benefit. Hope China wises up.

Not TAKE it out. LEAVE it out. It is lead carbonate. They add it to stop the cylinders knocking. It should actually cost less to make, but I think that engines needed to be different for them to not fall apart or something.
