Folks,
The Library is becoming pretty weedy and is overdue for some housecleaning. As time permits, I'm going to sharpen up the ol' fire ax and get to it.
I don't know how much plainer to make the description in LARGE TYPE on the main page. This is a place for useful facts. It's not the place to ask questions. It's definitely not the place for banter. We have other places for those; please RTFF.
Posts that do not fit the category of "useful facts" are going bye-bye. If you're seriously attached to anything else in the Library, please make a copy of it for yourself or repost it elsewhere. I'm really busy and a bit limited these days so you have plenty of time.
I'm NOT limiting your freedom to express yourself. We have areas here where you are encouraged to post anything you want. We have areas where you are encouraged to ask questions about China. But we do need some places where people can seek information and have some hope of finding it without wading through 5,000 banter posts. And this is one of them.
