In case you wonder - the pictures taken at the bridal shower are shown later on to male part of the family/friends as well. So, I am not actually revealing anything that is not supposed to be revealed

OK...at the behest of certain foreign persons, I changed my monitor resolution. I'm now running 1024x768 and can almost see the whole photo on one screenful without having to scroll over.
I can no longer read anything without my glasses, but it's a small price to pay to keep people from having to read the readme note or insert a size statement into their IMG tags.

I changed my monitor resolution...I can no longer read anything without my glasses... I have two, TWO, pairs of glasses on my desk. One for general use, and the other for glaring at the computer. This has worked out "just as I thought!!!" When you could see the whole photo on your monitor it looked like a postage stamp on everyone else's. Yuk, yuk, yuk. Damned kids.

I hate scrolling over!! More importantly; why is this titled weddings you can crash er attend in China. Is this some sort of bait and switch? ;D

Well, the expat community is very multi-cultural and differences are solved easier here. I have friends here from so many different countries. And I get to attend some interesting cultural events. E.g. this bridal shower. Then there was a Namibian Embassy reception. And Winter Balls. I can go on and on. I think one of the benefits of being an expat is that you get to see people and face things that you'd not be able to find back home. Or at least it won't be as easy to find them
