For Newbies and those yet to arrive, this is a great way to dine! A Penguin full of beer! A chef at work. The spot for a Birthday Party. Always popular. And an upstairs, undercover for wet weather.

Babe is the chick on the left, AJ. The other girl is a mate of the Babe, who is getting married in June. Her boyfriend joined us later. They sell Amway....very successfully! This was our first visit to this particular BBQ. They do excellent chicken wings. I'm still coming to grips with this camera. It seems a little soft.

What do you mean,'it seems a little soft' ?
I taught a kid years ago whose old man sold Amway. He was a great bloke. A mechanic in his day job. Some Amway people I met in Melbourne were like Jehova's Witnesses.
The girl's look like they're having a great time. The non-babe girl... even though she really is a babe looks like the kids best friend.

The girl on the left looks like the Chinese version of my high school's valedictorian.
And those chairs are really low to the ground.

Those low chairs are normal for here - almost every outdoor restaurant has them! People sit on kindy chairs and kindy tables everywhere.

Hey AJ, did you ever meet my ex-wife? I think you may have.
George, good shots, not least of all because you were always on one particular side of the camera.

The only place to be, my man. You think I'm gunna let somebody else play with my camera?? The folding stools are great. I'm over 6 ft. and I can get comfortable. Babe's family have got one especially for me...it's a bit taller than normal.

Hey AJ, did you ever meet my ex-wife? I think you may have. . I think she was the the one with the five gallon drum of dish detergent squeezed into a 250ml bottle. George I felt like I was watching in a movie looking at your photos. More please.

I'll see what I can do. The BBQ atmosphere is different to a normal restaurant. I think the charcoal smoke helps!!!!

I haven't seen any of those penguins here, George. I'd like one for home kept full of crushed iced and lemon for when the heat nukes us in the summer.
The blue beer barrels are returning to the village. Not many takers yet 'cause the weather is still up, down and blowing all around the town.

I think you can find them in the shops. These are Tsingtao branded, but there are ordinary ones around.

cascade? cascade is dishwasher detergent over here...mmm good! I grew up in a pub so my tastes in beer aren't refined. Cascade I love because of the many commercial beers on the market it has a less chemical content and you can smell the hops. Bit like loving Melbourne as a football team really.

QingDao beer...It's pretty universal in China. Cheap as chips too.

George, how did they cook the chicken wings? Well apart from being grilled on a spit. I mean what spices.
