A peasant watching our road block in Gansu. He don't need no TV. We were Funny! Some poor BASTARDS working in a quary in Shaanxi. Note the extensive use of safety gear. Almost all the Tibetan lady needed, and about all she had, to fix us a meal at over 13,000 feet in her family stone home. It took all I had to pull my gut up to her table.

I only got two photos and they took forever to show up. It is obvious that OHS meetings aren't part of the situation.

Uhhh...any reason to not move them to the Photo Album?
Also, couldn't find a slow server to host yer pics? I can see two of the three now and I'm not even retired yet.

2 out of 3 last night - 3 within a millisecond this morning. The last one is great. A really lovely photos. But ... she had a table for you to pull your gut up to? Rich Tibetan lady! I usually get to eat sitting on the floor/ground.

And the one in the Tibetan home could probably sold and/or win some photography contests. Lucky stiff.

Agreed, but he needs to burn in the lower right corner a bit. It isa bit too bright and loses definition.

No, the dirt floor is an integral part of the pic....it's just that little bright spot in the corner! It's too intrusive and drags one's eye away from the central theme.

Oh, no...it symbolizes the ascension into Nirvana, which everyone knows is a commonplace event in Tibet. Happens all the time.
