what is it about certain categories of folks in this country that makes great men turn into pooty businessmen when they smell just a hint of cash? I used to have this great location for bootcamps that i loved despite the small issues with electricity, heat, and room service. I was ready to head on back there for this one but the guy decided to double his rates again after another "friendship" handshake and baijiu... M'ckay that. Took us 1 week but we got our hands on the greatest little replacement spot out in the middle of nowhere with proper service and proper rooms. check this sucka out:

it's not that far out of town actually.. 120KM from shijiazhuang. The nearest and only coffee shop in this case will be my room where 500g of freshly ground colombian will be guarded by black widows, scorpions and an assortment of delightful and poisonous creatures that can be snacked on later Plus.. the manager is the sweetest thing.. great lady that went far and beyond the call of duty to help make this one possible...

Where is this? Its beautiful! i'm actually unsure about the name of the place itself. It's part the mountains in Hebei not too far from tuoliang but I've only been there once and i have yet to be familiar with the area.. it's very green, very isolated and at the foot of a mountain within a beautiful valley...

it does but i'm not sure i want to be there to check it out unless they have proper charcoil heaters. Even in the summer, you need to wear a light long sleeve shirt.... I got some pictures of the area from early spring with a little ice and snow... i gotta see if i can dig them out.

Oh, Nolefan, this place is beautiful! Adversity compensated you well.
I am hoping to come to bootcamp next year -- my fingers x'd

Nolefan, I'm with everyone else on the scenary. What a great place to be. As for the coffee, have them all get their own presspot...better still, it's Chinese bootcamp. Time to explore strong teas! Looking forward to the pictures.
