Hello all,
New Guy needs some help. Can anyone tell me anything about Suzhou Xia’en English School?
Have an offer, but the recruiter seems kinda slimy iffy. The contract doesn't seem too bad to me, but the answers the recruiter gave me do not read the same as the contract.
Any info appreciated.

Being told one thing, and offered something else on paper, is a major Danger Sign. Best advice is to point this out to all concerned and then walk away forever. Next best advice is to be damn sure you get a contract that matches the verbal offer in writing before agreeing to anything.
The best advice of all is to simply not work with recruiters. Finding jobs, you will come to see, really is embarrassingly easy. Most recruiters simply add another layer of lies and deceit to the process.
Oh, and yes, Con was indeed very drunk. But so were all of us here, so it was OK.
