Well, maybe you do - want to work for them, that is. They sound very professional and businesslike. They MUST be a reputable place if they have so many applicants they have to schedule interviews on the half hour. The competition could be tough On the other hand, maybe they only need a half hour to determine if you a) are foreign enough to bring them business b) are entertaining enough to retain business and oh, yeah, c) can speak English. More than half an hour of their time on a foreigner would be a waste. These are busy people. There are naps to take after the long business luncheons. Time is precious.

Let 'em bluster: YOU go give THEM an interview. The tiniest whiff of sleeze or cheese and you're out of there.

I like Con's approach!
It's not what they ask for, it's the way they ask for it. These guys sound like fascists to me....it is possible to be TOO professional and businesslike.

I was on the phone looking at this and trying to figure the "warning bell" Raoul meant..(Real important call ;D)
I figured it was the NO PHOTOCOPIER part---which is like this place...Them have them---it's just easier to get the visa than to actually use one. I end up going out and paying 1 jiao a copy..
Anyway schools are usually at their most polite at this stage so ...yeh....Shanghai must be a tough market...
