Yeah GG, but you wear a dress! Hope you also carry a gun.
San Antonio is my favourite Texican place. The girls by the Riverwalk on a Friday night, good mexican food - heaven!

He's the only guy here brave enough to wear a skirt.
The peeks worth it.

To be honest, for a long time I thought GG was a female but then I started paying attention to that little sign on the side under the nickname that identified a male....

im in Wuxi, east of Raouls' Suzhou hehehe.
I teach at Chiway Nan Yang international school. I have been here since last September and am hoping to be here for another year, with a payrise lol. Its ok most of my classes are small less than 30 and we are always paid on time, some times even early if 1 of us is in dire straites.
Wuxi is a nice place and seeing as it is my first taste of Asia i have really fallen for it. I have been here 11 months and it rox. I have many good friends both chinese and expats. Im lucky i think lol.

And a big warm welcome to my newest, bestest ever drinkin' buddy, Martin.
Don't know much about where he's from, what his favourite drink is, or preferred institution for recovering from baijiu addiction, but I'm sure he'll fill us in as he goes.

Hi Martin. Where to after your time in Zhaoqing is up? Not too sure yet as I haven't decided but another country in Asia. I'm, frankly, bored in China and don't like that I don't seem to save any money. Even if I did save some instead of spending it all on travelling It'd still be worth little when converted and spent in the West. Thinking of trying Japan but when I tell students that many of them say what an awful place it is! Which is funny as none of them have been anywhere near the place.

Too bad Wolf is too busy working on his thesis to check in here more often. He's in Japan and could give you some good insight on Japan vs China. You might want to dig up some of his old posts and have a read.

Hi Karenhunter. May I call you Karen? How long have you been in China? What are you doing here? (I assume teaching but could be way off base.) Head over to the Introducing Me thread and tell us a little about yourself.

G'day Karen and welcome. Have a good time, just mind the area where George spilt his beer, and best of luck trying to get Woza away from the karaoke machine.

Hi Martin 24 I have been to Zhaoqing about 5 times. Do you know Father John? Nice bloke. He studied at the same seminary as my brother. Which school are you teaching at? I may have to head down that way in the future.
Karen hi, welcome. Do you have a sweet tooth I have bought a bottles of Baileys for the ladies. Let me pour you a shot with a pint of our coldest and finest lager as a chaser or is it the other way round. Which chases what? Why we are on the topic of ladies how come I have been banned from the ladies lounge and George can get in a look more like a woman than George. I don't have his legs granted but I do at least shave my eyebrows
