It sounds good. At home, at rock concerts they used to throw beer cans. Empty if just happy, full if annoyed. I used to sometimes catch them for free beer.
After all, flowers are just the reproductive organs of certain plants. I wonder if there is an implied threat?

Well, I never thought of it that way, Non-Dave. Seemed to me that the guy who got the same flowers twice in the same performance was very popular.
Last night a family bearing gifts came to visit. Many, many more bananas than we can eat before they go rotten. The apples will likely keep awhile. So, got looking on the internet for a banana muffin recipe. This past summer I brought back muffin tins and measuring spoons and a measuring cup from the land where these things can be purchased easily. Found a recipe with ingredients I have on hand. And - I'm eating warm banana muffins from my (relatively) new toaster oven. Life is good.

Saw this on a t-shirt yesterday - worn by a teenaged boy: DIVERS DREAMS IS WET. Let's not get into the poor grammar, the spelling was accurate. My question to the guys is, is this something one brags about? Saw the same T-shirt here in Dalian. Older chap wearing it. I think guys do brag about anything of this nature!!!! Naw, I think the shirt slogan is more in the line of cleaning instructions for the ayi.

Just back from shopping..among other necessities, wine, cigs and food, had to buy a neon light to replace one that blew early yesterday morning and shut down the whole house.....knocked off two circuit breakers!! Of course the replacement doesn't work, so will have to call in the landlord. No way I am messing about with Chinese wiring! Anyway, I saw a display of "Aeronautic, healthy cake making“.. pans. They were frying pans, very nice, ideal for pancakes, omelettes, etc. I puzzled a bit about the "aeronautic" bit, but eventually it hit me.

Ruth, the banana muffin recipe you have, does it call for chocolate chips? No. If I wanted to make something with chocolate chips in this country I think I'd cut up Dove chocolate bar. T'would work, don't you think?

INGREDIENTS: ¡¤ 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ¡¤ 1 teaspoon baking soda ¡¤ 1 teaspoon baking powder ¡¤ 1/2 teaspoon salt ¡¤ 3 bananas, mashed ¡¤ 3/4 cup white sugar ¡¤ 1 egg, lightly beaten ¡¤ 1/3 cup butter, melted ¡¤ 1/3 cup packed brown sugar ¡¤ 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour ¡¤ 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon ¡¤ 1 tablespoon butter DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers. 2. In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat together bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups. 3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins. 4. Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.
------------------ We decided it would be better without the brown sugar mixture on the top. The sugar we get here is a little heavy and tastes like molasses. If you don't do the crumbles on the top it won't affect the recipe.
Butter is a little scarce here these days (I'm buying those individual packets for a king's ransom), so I used cooking oil instead of butter in the main recipe. Worked fine.

www.revver.com/view.php?id=59686I just found this version. I don't understand why this tower collapsed. The later part of the clip shows the collapse. Considering the size of the building, not much is burning. Very scary for the people shooting the video.

A wee bit dated is right, Wolfie......... chinateachers.proboards17.com/index.cgi?board=pubgen&action=display&thread=1147302079&page=33 218.58.14.112 /sims/bu-hkerry/index.html ubergoth.net Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.0.7) Gecko/20060909 Firefox/1.5.0.7 404 You lost? Best let the owner of the refering link that whatever they've got isn't valid anymore. If it was a link from one of my own pages, don't bother, as chances are I know it's broken and I really don't care.

You don't get the link, or you don't get the joke? It's probably not worth all this buildup.

I just didn't see it as funny. Maybe I don't know the characters, or get the point. I have heard of the SIMs games but not seen them, some sort of AI that does relationships or something. Is this related? Are these politicos sort of skins and the game has produced these scenes? Or are these just graphics the guy has made. I just don't get it is all.
The link worked.
