Alright, I just figured out how to post and all that jazz...This is the Californian Jeremiah and Jenny from canada I guees this would hopefully reach all those senior ( imean experienced Expats) we met a couple of tuesdays ago at Harry's and If not I'll have to start stalking you guys at the local alcoholic hangouts. Jenny and I got set up pretty sweet in a really nice apartment in SIP and all is well. Dont be afraid to shoot me a line cause we still need all the help we can use when it comes to knowledge of Suzhou and drinking buddies are always nice. Hope to hear from you.

Welcome aboard, Shorty. Can't help you too much with the slums of Suzhou, but there are a ton of drunks down that way, who are quite friendly. Hope you have fun in China.

Please make welcome my new drinking buddy. RoamingGnome, come in, sit down and I'll get you one of the best drinks in the house. And I'd suggest that Jenny also grab a membership and come in to chat as well! We women don't want to be outnumbered!
Welcome!

Did you guys do the J&J thing intentionally? It's just so darn cute. Welcome aboard and good luck in your new home.

Welcome!!! ;D Send Jenny right over to the Ladies' Lounge. Hmmm by the way, if you come as Double J, do you also share same nickname?

Welcome Jeremiah. Ditto what Cheeky and Lotus said - we'd love to have Jenny join too. Sometimes girls just gotta talk to other girls about girl stuff and we have a special lounge just for that purpose. Love to meet her and thrilled to meet you.
It's great you met some members in real life and decided to join. I'm trying to think who qualifies for 'senior' in Suzhou. If you mean Loops or Con or Raoul - wait until you meet some of the people here. Old in age maybe, but young at heart. I know you qualified that word as 'experienced expats' and we have plenty of those here too.
So tell us a little about yourselves. You've told us where you were from. How about why you came to China???

Hey there Double-J,
Here's a welcome from another set of twins just up the road in ChangZhou. We will likely be down that way before too long for a chance to tip a few with the SuZhou Saloon Crew. Admittedly we are a "bit" older and grayer with a few extra wrinkles but what the hay - this is simply a gas!

PS You wouldn't be that famous Jerimiah that made it in the rock industry, would you? I thought I heard about some Jerimiah that got a gig being a frog of some sorts.
