Well, hail and raise your glasses to Clover! Yes, AGAIN! Now none of you can really pick on someone: She is Irish and Hoglander. Which makes her equally related to everyone besides me (oh well!).
WELCOME CLOVER AND ENJOY YOUR TIME!

Welcome Clover, and have a pijiu on me. She is Irish and Hoglander. Bit confused here Cheeks, she's Irish, right, but Hoglander? Do you mean Hoganlander (ie. Australian, ie. One of God's chosen) or do you mean Hoglander (ie. Someone who's from one of the more rural of the 50 states, and spends their life raising piggies.)? But Cheeks, don't feel left out. We've all got a bit of Irish in us.

Thankyou, Cheekygal, for such a warm welcome. (And the others for getting my handbag back from Hamish and his sleeping anaconda.)
Newbs?... definately the split part of my personality is HOGANLANDER. My mam married a New South Welshman. Not a hog in sight. A few sows though which is why Mam packed us all back home. But as someone once said 'I still call Australia home.'

But New South Wales, that's no better than being from Queensland or South Australia. But don't take my word for this, ask George.

Well Melbourne's my favourite city. In Australia. Best Irish pub in the country and a great Irish expat scene. A great live music scene, too, whether it be Irish or local.

Top O the Mornin to ya, Clover. Nice to see that you're settling in so well. Don't let the boys drooling interfere with your drinking, Eh? They are cute , if persistent.

Cead mile failte, Clover! We don't need any more of those shiftless Hogans running around here, so I'm focusing on the Irish perspective.

What Raoul said about enough Aussies, already. Clover fits with the Emerald Isle image, too, so I'm also focusing on the northern hemisphere half of your personality. Need to find a clover somewhere for your avatar.
I can see you have this place figured out already. We're going to have fun together - as we give you valuable and serious advice about coming to live and work in China, of course.

Cead mile failte, Clover (as Raoul said). Now you realise that we are probably cousins as my ancestors came from near Amiens, the Celtic homeland for the Irish - so Irish/French - almost the same thing. One thing we both have in common is a love of having fun!

PM me anytime you're thinking of heading Down Under.
Someday, in the not too distant future, I wanna do the Trans Mongolian. I'll let you know if I start to make any definite plans.
