Finally worked out what it is about that Japan crap: Chinese are afraid of Chinese people!
Ask some good friends. They'll tell you not to talk about the Japan question. If pressed, they'll say that Chinese sometimes can't control themselves, and it's not worth your time to talk about those things. They're afraid!
My rejoinder has been that Chinese people are weak if they cannot hear more than one voice. Unfortunately friends go ahead and say that Chinese people are weak,
But I'm not sure that this Chinese fear is appropriate. It's a basis for going along to get along, but that's what Chinese like.
