I was going to make a smart-ass comment, but I see you have been upstairs and rectified the situation. Wondered why you were so silent about answering all my questions. Such a busy man. Can you spare a few hours to meet with us sometime that week? We can probably handle the partying and sightseeing on our own (as a gang, that is).
It's a conference. One where we hope to accomplish something besides hangovers. Check out the Octoberfest thread.
You guys are incorrigible. Is anyone taking this seriously, besides me?

Only me, Ruth. Nobody wants to sell T-shirts.

Hey George, while they're all drunk we can assign the hard work to them and keep the choice bits for ourselves. And when they sober up we'll remind them that they volunteered for it. They'll never know. That's assuming you can stay sober to help me with this.
And as for those saloonies who are off having exotic vacations with their daughters...

Executive decisions are always the best Ruth - ask our resident benevolent dictator, Woza. (PS Where is she? ). It'll be hard work in KL. There are Indian and Malay markets to check out, bookshops to browse in, salsa to learn, dinners to eat, towers to climb. And it's muggy there. Xin ku wo le! If you'd had the fest in KL I would have come!

Hey, hey!! I resemble that remark!! Ve Vill organize dem, Ruth, don't vorry! I agree with you about members deserting, the minute the word "work" is heard....bloody bad form! And as for other people "profiteering" in times of perceived crisis.....well that's despicable!!

Well, as long as you're working I guess it's okay you aren't going to be with the rest of us. Take copious notes on your surroundings and turn it into a chapter. We'll let you know what verb tenses to use once we assign them. George - as far as profiteering - somebody, or Nobody, has to do the fund raising. All profits go toward publishing costs, or drinks.
