Very interesting survey. Chinese average age of first intercourse - 18.8.

On average, people across the world spend 19.7 minutes on foreplay with men claiming to spend more time than women - 20.2 and 18.8 respectively

Foreplay differently assessed for length of time by men and women!! I wonder why there is that difference??

Something to do with men's inability to measure correctly - length of fish they caught/or let go is the first example that springs to mind!

Was having a deep and meaningful with one of the students I coach the other day. (We seem to spend 3/4 of our time just talking rather than going through his self study stuff!) He was saying that his dorm mates (he lives in a dorm of 7) tell him he is lewd (his word) for talking about sex. This student is 21. I fell about laughing. Most 21 y.o. guys I know spend a huge chunk of their time talking about sex. Yet he felt there was something wrong with him Sad.

Well, I know some reasons as to why they may have considered sex unsatisfying with their husbands/boyfriends/lovers etc, and boils down to do with the general lack of consideration that their men gave them in their lovemaking, relationship, life, marriage and everything.

Many also feel that westerners will be better because westerners show more consideration for their partners - based, I feel, on movies.

(my wife wrote a paper in a related field for the govt a few years ago and got a prize and flown to beijing for it all at govt expense - won first or second for the whole country. She is collecting data on this particular topic for other reasons, perhaps another paper will be written later. She wants to do a follow up on her original article for college/ uni students also.)

Chemists stock up on Viagra ahead of Muslim feast

DUBAI: Chemists across the conservative Middle East are stocking up on sex stimulant Viagra in the hope of huge sales during the Muslim festival of Eid al-Fitr later this week.

Viagra manufacturer Pfizer said pharmacies across the region had increased their stocks of the anti-impotence blue pills "after reporting significant sales increases for the drug over the Eid al-Fitr festival in previous years".
"Figures reveal that during the holiday period, a time when families gather to celebrate Eid, pharmacists have seen a three-fold rise in demand for Viagra," it said.

"The trend is common throughout the Middle East, with pharmacists in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar all noting similar sales patterns," it said.

Pfizer said "more than half of all Middle East males, aged between 40 and 70, are affected by erectile dysfunction to some degree, an incidence rate which closely resembles international figures."

Ahmed El Hakim, Pfizer's Middle East director of health policy and external affairs, said: "Naturally, married couples want to express and show their love for each other at these times.

"So it is not surprising that the demand for Viagra, a medication used by men all over the Middle East to improve their relationships and quality of life in general, should increase," he said.

However he added: "The phenomenon is not unique to the Arab world.

"The rise in demand for Viagra during Eid reflects a worldwide trend for increased Viagra sales during holiday periods and festivals. There are similar patterns in Christian countries over Christmas."
