I'm excited for ya, GG. Make the most of the time still there...
It'll be nice to have ya back on this side. It's better to have ya all in China! It's easier to extract revenge that way.

Don't forget to give me your number via PM, and pardon my English accent. I'll speak nice and slowly and clearly for you, haha. I'll even try to do on-the-spot conversions for things like:
Chips = Fries Crisps = Chips Red Sauce = Ketchup Pavement = Sidewalk Van = Truck
...etc etc etc. ;D I know how ignorant you Americans are of the founders of your spoken language. Tut tut. British English = Winner.

Good call on the number, mind PM'ing with that as well GG? Or I can grab it from Ob, either way. We'll have to all sit down for some fish and chips and beer that first weekend.

Scary and exciting at the same time. But at least you pretty much know the ropes this time.
Have fun.

Definitely bring the kilt. And definitely don't underestimate the impact of the world's Previous Standard English, which is indeed still taught by preference in as many as 3 schools in all of China. Oh, wait, one of those just changed over. OK, 2 schools.

>Definitely bring the kilt.
I priced these in Edinborough, and almost died of sticker shock. I've heard of excellently produced and priced suits in Hong Kong. Anyone know if the tailors there can create a decent kilt?

I don't even miss the food - western food now gives me la duzi!! I cooked pasta last night with smoked tomatoes, smoked garlic and Australian cheese as topping. I love smoked tomatoes - Murrumbateman, Poachers Pantry if any one is near here. Smoked garlic - same provenance - is also great. Cheese of any sort except plastic cheese - absolutely great.
But - 1 hour later - bloody hell - la duzi that lasted until late this afternoon.
Asian food it is for me.
