Hi all,
Even though I've still got about three months before I head over, I'm beginning to try and work out what to bring over with me.
Just wondering if any foods are banned from entering China?
Thanks!

You can bring vegemite - all visitors from Oz are under strict instructions to bring me some. Plus TimTams, stuffed olives, soluble Panadol, smoked oysters. Friends from other countries have brought in breads, dried meats (ham from Spain) and other favourite foods. I think as long as it is in sealed wrapping it seems to be OK.

I think in general, most countries will block fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats...things that might bring pests or diseases into the country.
