* Teacher from UK,Ireland,Austrialia and New Zealand are preferred
This is from the latest offering on the jobs board. What the hell is Austrialia? A Southern Hemisphere German speaking former British colony?

They want Australian because they know we speak the best English. I spend half my life here teaching Americans and others (including Germans) to speak properly. My American friends are slowly learning to say things like 'dodgy' 'going bush" and not to say 'rooting for'.
Plus we are the only country that speaks without an accent. My students have been told this so often that they now believe it!! (You can't hear your own accent therefore you don't have one!!)
PS - I am still awake and the birds are beginning to sing - why is this so?

Um, Lotus, the birds will sing EVERY morning, whether you are awake or not. They probably have no idea you are even awake.

My American friends are slowly learning to say things like 'dodgy' 'going bush' I'll give you the "dodgy" thing, I actually quite like that one, still learning exactly where it can apply to. BUT, the whole "going bush" thing....ummm...sorry....can't give ya that one (and no it's not a political issue)....I don't care how slim the pickin's are here for us ladies

Shenme?
I did nussing.
And Gretch, I think 'going bush' means something else where you come from. In Ozpeak it means "going away from the city and/or large numbers of people and into the sparsely populated rural and/or forested areas", not "a lady becoming so desperate for romantic company as to desire cunnilingus with members of the female persuasion", which you seem to imply.
