Well you know how much I love Dalian and I go on ad nauseum. Well I went for an interview today with a government recruiter, took my mate Allen, my student Eve I didn't take Tommy though. I give a kick ass interview because I have had so many in my life, I actually enjoy them. I read the interviewers and sum up their personalities and bring out the charm. I am polite, respectful and not overly cocky. I can only keep this up for a short time though, my attention starts to wander.
Here is the job, 6000 amonth one way airfare paid holidays, own aprtment and downtown. 25x40 minute classes a week. Pay own utilities and internet access. You have to stay in the school 40 hours though but I am already thinking of ways to get out of doing that. i pay for my own visa but my visa is still current to December. Anyway they need more teachers. Also they need teachers to go to Inner Mongolia, to train the Chinese English teachers over the summer holidays. Here is the website

Gambei Woza. If you are happy that's (as Dylan would say) "where it's at man."
I signed a deal the same in hourly terms----pay goes up quite a bit after 3 months. If I make history and last that long. ;D Appparently teachers here leave after the last scheduled class so it works out to a lot less than 40 hours on site. I don't mind anyway. I did this in Korea ---surf the net-come and go--an 8 hour day is not the end of the world.

Thanks Lager, I doubt very much if they would have the internet at the school. but I have a novel idea to while away the hours, I could learn Chinese. Which city are you teaching in? Cheers Woza
