Hey kids, I've been offered a 2-month job back in Shanghai. I've been having some, uh, receivables problems with my current job and a helpful friend pointed them to me. I'm not sure I want to move back to Shanghai for a 2 month contract, and I'm also not sure I'm quite ready to give up on my current job. There is some truth in poor but happy. The assignment is to teach sort of proto-business courses (workplace skills and such- not terribly demanding) with classes ending the first week of July. If'n you like each other this could turn into a full-time English gig for the subsequent semesters. They need someone ASAP and seem slightly desperate. It's a joint venture of a Chinese and an Australian university, so you know it's really academically challenging and run with total integrity. - 15 hours a week pays 12,000 RMB per month. - There is the possibility of some transportation allowance. - There is the possibility of on-campus housing. - Degree and at least some form of business experience/education required. - Cert strongly preferred; good teaching experience can be accepted instead. And that's about all I know. If interested send me a PM and I'll connect you.
