Nice but why is the furniture arranged that way?

Yes, freshly painted. ...and cleaned. The Boss donated her Ayi for the weekend, so Babe had her cleaning everything.
Nothing to do with me!! Maybe that's the way it was when we moved in. It came fully furnished. Wanna see the bedroom?

George, like the fabric on the sofa in the first picture. We had bed sheets with exactly the same pattern

George - I have major envy over your built-in shelf space.
Your walls don't look white. Is this a lighting trick or are you really lucky enough to have found a paint supply in this country that isn't stark white, bright blue or some other awful colour?
Nice. Glad you are settled in. So, where's the kitchen picture?

It's hard work selling poo! Ruth, the walls are a beige-y colour. Very tasteful.....and new! The Landlord lived here and his kid liked to draw on the walls. The kitchen? Coming up.....from the laundry end..to the sink end! Even a dining room! The bathroom/toilet is too small to get into with the camera.

I like the bar George!
And it seems the kitchen is too small for you to go into. Is this on purpose? "Sorry Babe, I'd like to cook for you but I just don't fit into the kitchen!"

Good thing you are tall. Your kitchen cupboards are like mine - up near the ceiling. Do you get a back ache leaning over to do the dishes in that sink? Looks as low as mine. Love the shade of the walls. Wonder if they sell that colour in Xingcheng? Beats stark white. More envy over the built in shelving. I spy Kahlua in your bar. Lotus - looks like the person not in bed is tucking the other one in. Great snap.

There are built-in cupboards and shelves everywhere. The kitchen is Ok for me to operate in, and the bench height aint too bad. The bar is indeed well stocked...Kahlua, Cointreau, baijiu, wine, etc.

Here is my contribution for this week. I am so pleased with this shot which I took whilst on a boat tour down the river at Shanghai during our holiday this week. I fired off about a dozen shots and in this one I seemed to get the barges and the buildings all in the right position. Pudong by day While I'm at it I will add this one too..the colours are spot on, but while resting the camera on a railing so I could lengthen the exposure a tad I didn't notice I had the camera at an angle. Pudong at night

Good stuff OZ. Looking across the Huangpu to Pudong, I'm always reminded of the Jetsons. Reckon the same archietect was used in each case.
