This one is my favourite photo this week. How about others put their favourite one up as well?

I'm not in China, but I figured I would contribute. Do you mean favorite taken this week, or just favorite at the moment? This one is about a year old, but still is one of my favorites. Sunset in Budapest

I had thought about it as a current thing - but the Budapest one is lovely - so it doesn't really matter. And what can I say about the paddle shop?

Hey when did they establish that paddle shop? Last time I went down that creek it wasn't there OK I am not in china either, but just feel a need to contribute. This is one of my favorites. I still remember the weather (northern USA). It was almost spring when this last minute Ice - Snow storm hit. It went from rain to sleet to huge snow flaks within 5 hours. Strange weather like this feeds my more contemplative moods. Hope ya like. ;D

How about an abstract? I imagine the majority of you know what this is, but I'll let you guess nonetheless.

This is of course an extreme close-up of Hamish's right cheek, the place that contracted Dutch Elm Disease. Ewwww, gross!

Steiner, that looks like the wall in the stairway on the way to my flat.
Uber and Icebear - fabulous photos.
Non-Dave - I recognize that couple!
Lotus - how do you manage to have your camera ready at just the right moment? Second thought - the street looks really clean. Is this typical?

Where I am while waiting for the plane to China, in a village of 540 people in western Canada. If you go straight up between the words "village" and "of" you will see my white home with a red roof. From my livingroom window I can see bald prairie hills. This is the "whole" village. eagle

Sasaktchwan right? It seems like everyone I've met from there is from a town along these lines. A girl I know is from North Battleford which I think is bigger. Also, they always seem like worldly travelers, I guess home life like that pushes you to explore?

Hi Ruth, I take my camera everywhere - along with tissues! Yes this is pretty typical - there are street cleaners everywhere, but not always effective!

Also, they always seem like worldly travelers, I guess home life like that pushes you to explore? You are right, it is in Saskatchewan. North Battleford is indeed bigger, about twenty times bigger LOL. I don't know if it is the size of the town that pushes one to explore. I was born and grew up in a city of almost a million people and have been a gypsy so-to-speak ever since. eagle
