Wow, DS is kicking ass and taking names over in hockey land. Well done!
Meanwhile, I might have a team if I can ever get more than about 4 players on the ice. I have 2 for tomorrow's game. What's up with that? Do these guys ever actually play hockey?

Not if you leave 'em sitting on the bench!! 9 players sitting around, smokin' and drinkin' on Saturday!!...only 6 actually on ice. Busy day was it?? I only have 4 for Sunday.

I have one on the ice for the game. The rest are enjoying the smell of lockerroom sweat - ugh! you have to have been in a hockey dressing room to experience this try\uly unique odour! As for Saturday, I had a full complement and still had to bench those who could have played (two). Woo Hoo! I guess that explains why I managed to slip into the lead for at least one day.

Hey Con,
Do you have the scoop on these ugly red letters that are messing up my roster?

We were looking at that here tonight. Best guess is that it's a glitch over at Yahoo and best ignored.
But we could be wrong.

Just got back from Shanghai and find I have slipped back a bit ... Dang them Sens ... can't seem to win much yet this year. If it's a close game, they fold up and suck their thumbs (all thumbs).

You're still in first place. I only have one player tomorrow so you will probably still be in first place.

I am dropping in the standings as my many players are playing as if I only have one player. Emery needs to get well soon and help out the Sens (he is my main goalie and he is taking naps rather than playing).

I only have one player tonight too so it could be fun.
Raoul both you and I have Anaheim players but the Eagle has one player on Minn. So either we will move up or he will.

Musta been him. My team full of big-name stars, when they DO get on the ice, immediately slip and fall on their butts...

What kind of bastard team loses a marquee player for a month... and doesn't put him on IR? Gaborik has been a hole in my lineup for weeks, and this could go on another month. And I can't drop him. I can't seem to buy assists. It's killing 2 categories for me. As for goaltending, Kari Lehtonen is winning tons of games... 5 to 4. Had to say goodbye. One thing I like about this year's league is the parity: no one's running away with it, and no one's hopeless at this stage... even George, who clearly has a sexual relationship going on with a few of his guys, given that he hasn't dropped the underachieving bums.

All I can find to replace them is other under-achieving bums!!

Please, don't say "bums" around George. I don't want to have to get the tranquilizer dart rifle out again.

I spoke too soon: DS is achieving some major separation (sp?). I've made a ton of moves, and my number seem to be inching up, but I have a lot of ground to make up.
Damn injuries! I'd like to bitchslap the Minnesota coach for not putting Marion Gaborik on the IR. He's a total hole in my lineup, and I can't drop him!

Yeah, but you just like bitchslapping people. I've seen how you are.

For a second you were on the way up the rankings there George. It seems I am stuck in second for the present. The SENS have come to life after I traded away Mezaros and Redden - LOL! Trading is the key. Maybe even a trade or two would be in order - of course DS has the players you need.
